Finding direction for Infineo – IT For Girls

Case Study Summary
Infineo is an IT support company dedicated to helping small businesses reach their potential. However, Infineo were not reaching their own potential as they were unsure how to position the unique attributes of their business. The Bridge worked with them to develop a parallel brand, IT For Girls, building a strategy to move the business forward.

What Happened?

Infineo could offer a great service to small businesses supporting their IT but they did not know how to set their business apart. The Bridge worked with them to identify the unique selling points of their business. They discovered that, unlike many of their competitors, Infineo had a very ‘human' approach to IT support - they didn't believe in jargon and were committed to finding IT solutions which really worked for small businesses.

Using this information they together came up with the original idea of IT For Girls, a parallel brand aimed at women who run their own business. The Bridge developed a distinctive new logo, a new website and marketing material, all designed to ensure the unique concept of IT For Girls was correctly positioned within the market. 

The Outcome

IT For Girls was showcased at an important ‘Women in Business' event, where it received excellent feedback from the female business community. The Managing Director, Ann Merrick has since commissioned The Bridge to create a business plan for 2008 and research routes to market and further events where IT For Girls may exhibit and present. To support this The Bridge is providing rolling information on issues which might make suitable presentation topics. As a result of the work carried out by The Bridge, Infineo and IT For Girls have a clear direction and are now building an effective sales pipeline that is creating turnover month on month.
