Creating an image to inspire trust - Glenside Manor Healthcare

Case Study Summary
Glenside Manor Healthcare is a private hospital offering specialist neuro rehabilitation and dementia care services in Wiltshire. However, until they worked with The Bridge, too few people had heard about them. The Bridge undertook a major rebrand to raise their profile.

What Happened?

When The Bridge first met with Glenside Manor Healthcare, they understood why the existing brand was not appealing to the key care professionals who were responsible for generating the hospital's referrals. Though elegant, the brand did not evoke the message that Glenside Manor was a private hospital. Furthermore, the existing marketing was not reaching the medical referees, on which the hospital depended for patients. People simply didn't know what Glenside Manor did or the selection of services available.

The Bridge carried out research amongst everyone employed at the hospital to fully understand all the services and values nurtured by the organisation. In addition they also undertook an investigation into medical referrals, how the process worked and how decisions were being made. Armed with this valuable information, The Bridge designed and produced a new brand, repositioning the key message so it would appeal to care referees and support the development of the hospital.

The Outcome

The Bridge created a selection of new collateral to support the new brand of Glenside Manor Healthcare which could be used and displayed at conferences and events. The website was redesigned and rebuilt and regional advertisements were placed in healthcare and regional news press to attract care referrals. As a result, there has been positive feedback from conference delegates as well as referees and Glenside Manor Healthcare now has excellent positioning in the care market. Most importantly however, the number of referrals has risen, ensuring those who can really benefit from Glenside Manor get the chance to take advantage of their specialist services.
